The Rod Seals is the most critical seal on any type of fluid power equipment preventing leakage of fluid from within the cylinder to the outside.
Buffer and rod seals ensure contact between the piston rod and the cylinder head in sliding motion. A rod sealing system may include a rod seal or a buffer seal depending on its application or a rod seal alone. Heavy-duty rod sealing systems typically include a combination of both seals.
